type 7 is "The Enthusiast." 7s value their own freedom and happiness and keep themselves excited and occupied by constantly pursuing new experiences and stimuli. less healthy 7s use this eagerness to explore as a way to run from their hidden feelings of deprivation and dissatisfaction. as a result, they become scattered and frenetic, potentially running themselves into the ground financially or damaging close relationships. 7s actualize by letting go of their need to be constantly stimulated and becoming more aware of the consequences of their actions. actualized 7s gain satisfaction when they realize that it does not come from acquiring objects or experiences; the potential to live a full and happy life is within them all the time.

7 disintegrates to 1 and integrates to 5. 3, 7, and 8 try to get what they want by "moving against people" and demanding. 7, 9, and 2 avoid their unmet needs by adopting a positive outlook.
